Thursday 9th January
Group Films evening, two films were shown the "A Team" presented One Night Only an excellent comedy.
"Puppet Productions" presented The Card a mystery.
Both films displayed a high degree of professionalism in their production and both were entertaining, it is certain they will be included in the Two John's Presentations. It is difficult to review any of these films without giving the plot away.
Brian Palmer asked if he could show the club a film that he'd just completed, titled The Gamble a story about a couple who are computer dating, an interesting film with a cunning twist. Again not too much can be said without revealing the plot. These films will almost certainly make it into the Two Johns Presentations.
Thursday 23rd January
The variable subject competition, the subject was a one minute advert! There were seven films submitted each as different as could be possible. Film Makers were...
Ed Kinge prolific film maker with two entries.
Christine Collins

Finally there was a film shot by Joseph Kostelecky, not entered into the competition it had been shot on a Canon DSLR it was a great idea well filmed and had a cinema flavour. Very entertaining.

Thursday 20th February
Orpington Video and Film Makers Club lent us a show reel they had assembled, spanning the history of their club. With have gleaned a vast amount of knowledge from it.
Thursday 6th March
A practical evening discussing and demonstrating the editing process. Tricky! This is a VAST topic and takes years to master, could it ever be mastered we find ourselves amongst the most rapidly changing area of technique and technology. It does keep everyone interested though.
